Q: I haver an old Earth Minded rain barrel. I don't know how old it is, so I want make sure I get the correct replacement threaded seals. It doesn't say "RainStation" on the barrel; just the name, "EarthMinded." The holes measure 1-3/16" in diameter. for the threaded seals. Thanks for your help.

Q: Do I need to secure these seals with a waterproof silicone sealant or something like that? Or should it just be watertight on its own?

A: Silicone is not suggested if the hole is the correct size and burrs have been filed down

A: The Threaded Seal requires a 1.25: hole - The Hose Seal a 1.5" hole. Increasing the size of a hole can be pretty difficult - Please consult YouTube for further suggestions
